Welcome to Paris

The IVR World Congress is held every two years and brings together philosophers of law and social philosophers from all over the world. After Bucharest (2022), Seoul (2024) and Istanbul (2026), the 33rd Congress takes place in Paris in July 2028.

Six days of plenary lectures, special workshops and working groups, in the heart of the Latin Quarter. We look forward to welcoming you.

Working groups

Individual papers are presented in thematic working groups. Submit an abstract of up to 500 words through the online form.

Special workshops

Convenors propose a workshop on a focused topic and select its speakers. Accepted workshops then open their own call for papers.

Registration

All speakers and attendees register online and pay by card or SEPA. Institutional invoices and purchase orders are accepted.

Registration fees

Fees include congress materials, coffee breaks and lunches. Gala dinner and excursions are booked separately.
